Daily Mug Shot
Fuzz Powered DailyMugshot.com Featured on CNET and CNN
Fuzz Productions, LLC worked with Daily Mugshot founder Keith Gould to build the technology that allows for the capture and playback of Mug shots into "Mugshows". Recently featured on CNET (http://news.cnet.com/8301-17939_109-10203999-2.html), and CNN (http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/tech/2009/03/12/dcl.pirillo.tech.mugshot.cnn?iref=videosearch) the site, when pitted against Daily Booth, and as stated on CNET, features "a better design and outstanding implementation that makes it fun and worth using, Daily Mugshot is simply a more robust and worthwhile service."
Our work included the capture functionality utilizing a users web cam or other camera to capture their daily headshot. Unique to Daily Mugshot, the application allows users to properly align and size their photo to match a pre-created template, ensuring that the Mugshow plays back with all photos in alignment. Mugshows, as viewed on the Dailymugshot.com site, can be easily distributed across social networking platforms such as Facebook, Friendster, Blogger and others, keeping everyone up to date.
When asked about working with Fuzz Productions, Gould stated "I've been working with Fuzz for over a year now. Time and time again, they take my abstract ideas and come back with crystallized work. Their ability to execute is matched by their enthusiasm and creativity. Basically, they rock."
About Daily Mugshot
Launched in early 2008, Daily Mugshot is a free service which chronicles its users daily images of themselves, and share them as an animated sequence. Gould’s inspiration was taken from his meeting a gentleman who took a daily picture of himself, ultimately turning it into a video. As Gould said “the video was amazing. I thought: I want to do that too!”
