BeWell.com takes a new approach to providing medical information online. A team of well-known doctors maintain communities and information hubs for patients, families, advocates, and other professionals, adding a personal feeling lacked by many other medical information sites.

BeWell.com is one part reference resource, one part social network.

Our biggest challenge in developing BeWell.com was learning to utilize the full power of Ektron to build a full social network on top of a content publishing system in an incredibly short timeframe. By working closely with the developers of Ektron, we were able to design and develop a unique site that serves as a two-way channel between medical experts and the people who need their advice. By the conclusion and launch of the project, our deep understanding of Ektron allowed us to offer critical advice to its developers to help guide future releases of the platform.
